By AccessWDUN Staff

The Georgia Department of Labor’s (GDOL) Habersham Career Center will help ResCare HomeCare, Inc., a nursing and residential care company, recruit 20 direct-care employees in Clayton on Thursday, June 22. Ten employees will work in Rabun County and 10 in Fannin County, according to a press statement from GDOL.

The recruitment will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the labor department’s satellite office inside the Rabun County Employment Center located at 184 South Main St.

All applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or a General Education Diploma (GED) and a valid driver’s license.  Since the company will train the workers, no previous experience is required. Full-time and part-time jobs are available.

Applicants are encouraged to bring their resume and driver’s license and dress appropriately to improve their opportunities for employment.

For more information about the jobs, or to apply online, visit employgeorgia.com to create an account and upload, or prepare, a resume. Having an Employ Georgia account expedites the interview process.

For more information about the recruitment, or to schedule an interview with the employer, contact the GDOL’s Habersham Career Center in Cornelia at (706) 776-0811. The employer prefers scheduled interviews, but walk-ins will be accepted. The career center is open to serve the public Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and the Rabun County satellite office is open every Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
