The Georgia Department of Transportation is warning motorists of rolling lane closures on State Route 11/US 129 at the widening project Thursday.
The north and southbound lanes will be closed for grass cutting on the shoulders of the widening project, which is between Talmo Trail Road and Gillsville Highway, according to a release from the department.
The mowing will begin at 9 a.m. and last until 4 p.m.
The DOT encourages drivers to plan ahead as this will create delays both north and southbound.
