East Hall Middle School has been awarded the top honor by the Georgia Library Media Association.
Word of the honor was included in a note received by the school was a few days ago, according to principal Kristin Finley.
“Congratulations! East Hall Middle School is the winner of the 2017 Exemplary Media Program Award," it reads. "Your program will be honored during the opening ceremony of the GLMA Summer Institute on Monday, June 12 in Peachtree City.”
It was signed by Holly Frilot, Awards & Grants Coordinator, and Kim Thames, Exemplary Media Program Chair, at the Georgia Library Media Association.
