ATLANTA — In addition to Georgia Tech’s 2017 season opener versus Tennessee in the Chick-fil-a Kickoff Game on Monday, Sept. 4, at the brand-new Mercedes-Benz Stadium in downtown Atlanta, the Yellow Jackets will have two other early non-conference games as well as its road meeting at Miami (Oct.12) televised, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced on Wednesday.

Tech’s Labor Day opener versus the Volunteers will be nationally televised in primetime on ESPN at 8 p.m. ET, as previously announced.

The Jackets’ week two matchup at home versus Jacksonville State on Saturday, Sept. 9, at 12:30 p.m. ET will be carried by RSN. The game will air on Fox Sports South regionally as well as throughout the country on various regional sports networks.

One week later, GT’s road bout at Central Florida in week three on Saturday, Sept. 16, in Orlando, Fla. will be broadcast by ESPN and aired on ESPNews. Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. ET.

Along with the Jackets’ first three games of the year, the conference also announced that Tech’s ACC contest at Miami on Thursday, Oct. 12, will air on ESPN with a start time of 8 p.m. ET.

Coming off a 9-4 campaign and the 25th bowl victory in school history, Georgia Tech returns 16 starters (eight on offense, eight on defense) in 2017. The Jackets' 16 returning starters are tied for the 15th-most in the nation.

The Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game is part of Georgia Tech football's 2017 season tickets, which are on sale now, beginning at just $300 per seat. In addition to the season opener versus Tennessee at MBS, the Yellow Jackets' highly anticipated 2017 home schedule includes six games at Bobby Dodd Stadium, highlighted by showdowns against North Carolina, Virginia Tech and Georgia.
