AP FACT CHECK: Trump's Russia claims under scrutiny

By The Associated Press

WASHINGTON (AP) — An AP Fact Check spots some questionable assertions from President Donald Trump about the Russia investigation.

He's claiming that his political adversaries agree with him that there was no collusion between his presidential campaign and Russians. His critics are not at all convinced of that.

He's also appearing to shift some responsibility for the firing of FBI chief James Comey to a Justice Department official. Earlier, he'd claimed sole ownership of that decision.
