In Jackson County, he was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

The charges stemmed from a temporary protection order violation on Wednesday, May 10, on McDonald Circle, Commerce, which is located south of Homer in Banks County.

When Banks County deputies arrived n McDonald Circle, they observed Cabrera Jr. speed away from the residence at 1171 McDonald Circle in a vehicle, according to the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office (ARDEO).
