Girls golf: Gainesville holds off Buford

SUWANEE — The Gainesville girls nipped Buford in girls golf action at Bears Best Golf Course Wednesday.

Gainesville finished with a score of 157 to Buford's 165.

Sophomore Vivian Robinson, Catie Cook, and junior Julia Ferguson all carded scores in the win for the Lady Red Elephants.

Gainesville next will take on Habersham Central on Tuesday at Apple Mountain.
