WATKINSVILLE — For a second straight day the North Hall tennis teams earned a split, this time on the road o Tuesday against Oconee County.
The Lady Trojans took a 4-1 victory while the boys fell 4-1.
In the girls match, Christen Barnes and Lauren Davis both got wins in singles. The doubles teams of Sydney Patterson and Annalise Gregory and Baylee Turner and Ella Oxley took victories.
Anna Montgomery fell in straight sets at No. 1 singles.
The girls improved to 11-4 on the season.
In the boys match, Masa Kobayashi and Christian Boychuk lost in straight sets i singles. Kody Dills got the Trojans only in at No. 3 singles in a 6-3, 6-2 over Jake Boran. The No. 1 doubles team of Daniel Martin and Shawn Wallhausen lost a tough three-set match. The No. 2 doubles team of Adam Turcotte lost a close two-set match.
The North Hall boys fell to 8-7 on the season.
Both North Hall teams will play host to Jefferson on Wednesday.
