Hall County Fire awards employees for saving lives, going beyond in 2016

Hall County Fire Services recognized their own that had gone above and beyond or saved lives in 2016 Friday.
 
Sgt. Damon Gowan was named Firefighter of the Year; Sgt. Justin Blanchard was named EMT of the Year; Sgt. John Myers was named Paramedic of the Year; and Lt. Damon Migliore was named Officer of the Year.
 
Paramedic Jonathan Mullinax was awarded the Medical Lifesaving Award; Paramedic Dale Graham, EMT Jason Clark, Paramedic Elizabeth Taylor and EMT Robert Norton received the Trauma Lifesaving Award; and Paramedics Stockton Trotman, Krystal Wilson-Britt and Jonathan Calhoun were honored with the Cardiac Lifesaving Award.
 
Battalion Chief Rob Sanders, Sergeant David Jones, Anuel Burce, Lieutenant Louis Legier, Lieutenant Richard Grimes, Sergeant Mitch Redmond, Firefighter Austin Brown, Michael Sams, Battalion Chief Robert Culbertson, Lieutenant Rhett Tyner, Sergeant Jason Hart, Firefighter Sean McGuire, Sergeant Andrew Nix, Sergeant Justin Whitfield, Firefighter Zakary Holbrook, Captain Tim Drake, Sergeant William Flesher, Lieutenant Shane Peck, Sergeant Jonathan Barton, Firefighter II Chase Mullinax, Sergeant Tyler Bailey, Firefighter Zachary Brannon all received the Rescue Award.
 
Caleb Rumbaugh, Brian Gregory and BJ Williams received Chief's Awards.
 
A Civilian Lifesaving Award was also presented to Nancy Findley in recognition of her performing CPR for over 15 minutes on her husband, saving his life.
 
This is the third annual awards banquet for Hall County Fire Services. It was held at First Baptist Church and was funded by donations from local businesses and citizens.
