An Oakwood man is charged with burglary in the first degree after he allegedly stole $15,000 worth of jewelry.
Jesse Carrington Maldonado, 32, was arrested Sunday, according to Deputy Stephan Wilbanks with the Hall County Sheriff's Office. "The investigation revealed that Maldonado unlawfully entered a home and stole approximately $15,000 dollars worth of jewelry," said Wilbanks. "As the investigation continues, some of that jewelry has been returned to the owner."
Maldonado reportedly entered the home on Our Road on Friday.
Maldonado remains in the Hall County Jail on an $11,200 bond.
