DAHLONEGA — East Hall earned its first Region 7-AAA win of the season on Monday pounding out 14 hits in taking a 12-4 victory over Lumpkin County on the road.
East Hall (7-6, 1-3 Region 7-AAA) jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead and then added three more fourth inning to take control.
Luke Cooper, Levi Crocker, Trey Campbell, and Mikey Matuska each collected multiple hits for East Hall. Luke Cooper and TJ Smith each drove in three runs for th Vikings.
Lumpkin County collected eight hits. Logan Choflet and Jace Seabolt each collected multiple hits for th Inians (5-10, 2-5).
The two teams will move to Rabbittown on Wednesday. They will conclude the three-game series on Friday back in Dahlonega.
