The North Hall boys tennis team was blanked 5-0 by a good Blessed Trinity team Thursday.
However, the match was closer than the final score with two matches going to three sets and another decided by two services breaks.
Masa Kobayashi lost to Mick Gulledge 6-0, 6-3 at No. 1 singles while Christian Boychuk dropped a tough 6-1, 5-7, 6-3 matc to Harry Rawson at No. 2 singles. Daniel Martin fell to Joseph Zimmer 7-5, 6-3 in No. 3 singles.
In doubles play, the No. 1 team of Kody Dills/Adam Turcotte lost 6-3, 6-0 to Ben Gomez/Justin Zimmer while at No. 2 doubles, Shawn Wallhausen/Ethan Surles were beaten 6-4, 3-6, 6-2 Ryan Schmitt/Hack Goldscholl to complete the sweep.
North Hall (2-1) next will travel to Flowery Branch on Wednesday.
