Former Gwinnett County athlete facing child porn charges

By Scott Kimbler Reporter
A former football standout in Gwinnett County is facing child pornography charges.

The Gwinnett Daily Post reports that former Parkview High School standout, Brad Lester, 32, of Buford, is accused of using a cell phone to video record a teenager using the restroom in a fast-food restaurant in November.

Lester is also charged with distributing the video.

According to the paper, Lester has worked as a substitute teacher in Gwinnett County schools.  There's no word on whether he is still employed by the school system.

Lester played for the Parkview Panthers through three consecutive title years from 2000-02.  He later went on to play for Auburn University.
