A fatal wreck on US 129 Tuesday morning closed all lanes near the Jackson-Hall County line for over an hour.
The Georgia State Patrol reports that Kimberly Poole of Jefferson crossed the center line as she was headed southbound on the highway in her Mitsubishi Outlander and collided head-on with a Ford F-150 driven by Rachel Bruce of Talmo.
Poole dies of her injuries at the scene according to GSP; Bruce was taken to the Northeast Georgia Medical Center where her condition is unknown.
The incident is now under investigation by the GSP.
No other people were involved in the 7:50 am wreck.
