RABBITTOWN — The East Hall boys basketball team showed off its offensive firepower Friday night.
Led by Qua Butler's 23 points, the Vikings had four players score in double figures as they took down Class AAA No. 1 Greater Atlanta Christian 88-74 in a key Region 7-AAA contest at the East Hall gym.
Jayvion Rucker and Luke Cooper each poured in 16 points and Luke Holtzclaw added 12 points for East Hall (2-4, 2-0 Region 7-AAA). GAC fell to 5-2, and 1-1 in region play with the loss.
With the win the Vikings moved into an early first-place tie with Dawson County and Union County.
East Hall next will playin the Carolina Forest Invitational on Dec. 20 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
