The new website for the city of Suwanee is tentatively slated to launch in February, according to city documents.
The website is being built by Vision, a company based in El Segundo, Ca., at a cost of $34,540 — a contract approved in June.
The new site will be more mobile-friendly, something that got too cumbersome with the old site, said Denise Brinson, assistant city manager, in a prior interview with AccessWDUN.
An update given to city council members are their work session Thursday indicated that developers had completed the basic look and feel of the website, and are now focusing on the content.
The old site required city staff members to update the site twice for every new item, once for the desktop site and once for the mobile site.
The tentative launch date is Feb. 19, 2018.
