COMMERCE — Anna McKendree poured in 34 points and was named Tournament MVP after leading West Hall to a 65-24 win over Social Circle Tuesday night to win the East Jackson Tanger Thanksgiving Tournament.
The Lady Spartans (4-0) had eight players score. Kinsey Wilson scored 10 points and was named to all-tournament team. India Strickland added 7 points for the Lady Spartans.
West Hall is off until traveling to Dawson County on Dec. 1st.

East Hall had three players score in double figures in taking their first win of the season at the Joe Greene Classic on Tuesday at Beach High School in Savannah,
Senior Carly Winters led the way with 18 points. Tessa Rider added 13, and Maggie Griffin 10 for the Lady Vikngs. Macy Thomas and Jenny Lopez each had 9 points for East Hall.
The Lady Vikings will be back in action on Saturday traveling to Banks County.

Despite 33 points from Kaylee Sticker, the Lady Tigers could not overcome a big first quarter deficit in the Tiger Classic Championship game Tuesday night.
Lanier jumped out to a big 22-10 lead after one quarter and never looked back. Dawson County trimmed the lead to 37-31 by halftime but could get no closer.
Turnovers plagued the Lady Tigers and they could not break down the Lady Longhorns defense in the second half. Lanier extended the lead 53-44 and put the game away in the fourth holding Dawson County to just 8 points
Dawson County is off until playing host to West Hall on Dec. 1.

Jackie Allen led Lakeview Academy with 14 points but it wasn;t enough against the Lady Blue Devils in the Piedmont Classic Tuesday.
The Lady Lions (0-2) next will travel to St.Francis on Tuesday.
