South State Bank has partnered with the reopened Clarkesville Soup Kitchen to help alleviate hunger in the Clarkesville community by making a $2,000 donation.
“The Clarkesville Soup Kitchen is a vital part of our community,” said Donna Taylor, South State Bank Clarkesville branch manager. “The services it provides, including delivery of hot meals to the elderly, is much needed and we encourage other area businesses and residents to get involved.”
