Schofield recommends Lyman Hall principal for top spot at new Cherokee Bluff Middle

The superintendent of the Hall County School District plans to recommend the current principal of Lyman Hall Elementary to become principal of a new middle school in the south end of the county.
 
According to a media statement from the school district, Will Schofield will recommend Robert Wilson for the Cherokee Bluff Middle School job at a board of education meeting on Monday, November 13.  The new school is scheduled to open in the 2018-19 school year.
 
Wilson has been principal at Lyman Hall since 2012.  He came to the school district in 2010, after having served the previous four years as assistant principal for curriculum and instruction at McNair Middle School in College Park.
 
Wilson has an Education Specialist Degree from Lincoln Memorial University.  He received his Master’s Degree from Troy State University and his Bachelor’s Degree from LaGrange College.
 
Wilson and his wife MaryAnna have two sons, Tanner, 16, a junior at West Hall High School, and Nathan, 10, a 5th grader at Flowery Branch Elementary. The family lives in Braselton.
