GAINESVILLE — North Hall volleyball has had its eye on history all season, and the Lady Trojans are playing like it as they approach the business end of the 2017 campaign.
As one of just four northeast Georgia programs still playing -- Buford, Jackson County and Rabun County are also playing in their respective classifications -- North Hall enters Saturday's state quarterfinals looking to notch its second straight semifinal berth. And as the No. 2 overall seed in Class AAA, the Lady Trojans believe they have what it takes to make history and win the program's first ever state championship.
AccessWDUN's Joey Deaton recently caught up with North Hall coach Emi Hughes after her team's second round playoff win to see how the team is feeling on the eve of their title bid.
