By AccessWDUN staff

SOCIAL CIRCLE — Banks County football claimed its second straight win of the campaign and moved another win closer to the playoffs courtesy a 38-6 defeat of Social Circle on Friday in Social Circle.

Terrance Walker starred for the Leopards (4-4, 3-1 Region 8-AA), rushing 25 times for 232 yards and four touchdowns, while Clayton Dykehouse rushed 14 times for 75 yards.

Oscar Reyes booted a 43-yard field goal and was 5-for-5 on point after attempts for Banks, while Riley Stroud added the final score on a touchdown run.

Defensively, the Leopards got three interceptions from Jacob Lehotsky.

Banks County will play host to Putnam County next week. A win there would secure the program's second straight state berth -- a feat not accomplished since 1996-97.
