Former JHS principal Nelwyn Turk dies

A long time Hall County educator has died. Nelwyn Turk passed away Tuesday following a brief illness. 

Turk was the principal of Johnson High School for many years. 

Hall County Coroner Marion Merck remembered Turk as a special lady who loved children. 

She was 84 years old.
