Prep Talk podcast with Morgan Lee and Katie B. (10-11-17)

By AccessWDUN staff

Week 7 of the high school football season was all about breakout performances, both individually and collectively, and the cream of the area's regions rising to the top as teams continue their push towards the playoffs.

In this edition of the Prep Talk podcast, AccessWDUN sports editor Morgan Lee and Katie B. discuss:

Beginning of the show: Katie B.,in a humbling moment of shame, admits to not giving this year's GAC team the kind of credit it deserves

2:30-minute mark: Has Gainesville proven itself to be a tough out?

6-minute mark: Gainesville's win against Habersham Central doesn't happen without an individual breakout performance by Tre Luttrell (and a little preview of GHS at Dacula)

8:40-minute mark: North Hall's offense goes airborne (and, yes, we're aware that TJ Pitts was not the QB...Katie B. is really on an incorrect roll these days)

12-minute mark: A preview of Union County at North Hall

14:30-minute mark: Morgan and Katie B. go rogue and talk about the embarassment that is the US Men's National Team not qualifying for the World Cup

20-minute mark: West Hall's defense is good and the Spartans quarterback Michael Thompson is getting better

23-minute mark: What teams look like the class of their regions and is Winder-Barrow one of them?

28-minute mark: Jackson County isn't just about Noah Venable

Prep Talk Podcast with Morgan Lee and Katie B. (9-19-17)
What a week for high school football! Those in attendance at Memorial Stadium got the privilege of seeing Jefferson and Flowery Branch do work against each other (and Colby Wood's defensive exploits), Buford was handed its first home loss in five years (and first loss to an out-of-state team ever) and among many other things, West Hall's Isreal Lopez further proved himself to be a real difference maker in the kicking game. In this week's Prep Talk podcast, AccessWDUN sports editor Morgan Lee and Katie B. look back at last week and ahead to some big region games this Friday Night.
