GAINESVILLE — The Lakeview Academy boys basketball team ran past Hebron Christian 83-63 on Tuesday in Gainesville.
Tre Gober led a balanced effort for the Lions (13-5, 8-0 Region 8-A), scoring 19 points. Evan Pitts and Drew Cottrell also scored 14 points apiece, while Josh Randolph added 13 points. Jack Blackburn provided five assists.
Earlier on Tuesday, Lakeview learned that it currently occupies the No. 3 spot in the GHSA Class A Private power rankings.
The Lions play again at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Towns County High School in Hiawassee.
