GAINESVILLE — The Gainesville girls basketball team took out Apalachee 53-31 on Tuesday in Gainesville.
Taylor Hawks scored 13 points to pace the Lady Red Elephants, while Mikeisha Battle added 11. Jada Harrison also scored seven.
Gainesville jumped out to a 21-6 lead after the first quarter.
The Lady Red Elephants play host to Dacula on Friday.
