Starting this week, the Gainesville-Hall Community Service Center will be providing a space for Brenau University to prepare and e-file tax returns at no charge for households earning up to $54,000 a year.
Tax preparers will be available at the Community Service Center located at 430 Prior Street SE, Gainesville, GA 30501 beginning Friday, Jan. 20 from 2 p.m.-6 p.m. Preparers will be available every Friday from 2 p.m.-6 p.m. until April.
Officials said no appointments are needed. Help is provided on a first come, first served basis.
