Michael Page drove to the lead on the opening lap of Sunday’s Ice Bowl Super Late Model feature at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama, and went on to score the victory.
The win gave the Douglasville, Georgia driver a $6,000 payday in the event, which was postponed from last weekend due to wintry weather.
Page led every lap of the 50-lap event, staying out front through five cautions. The only bump in the road came with the final caution, which flew on lap 49, setting up a green-white-checkered finish.
That allowed Dawsonville, Georgia’s Donald McIntosh to close on Page for the restart. When the green flag flew, however, Page held off McIntosh to score the victory.
Jason Hiett finished in third, with Brian Smith in fourth and Jason Welshan in fifth.
Chris Noah, Jadon Frame, Jimmy Elkins Brian Conner and Douglas Stewart rounded out the top ten finishers.
In other action, Brandon Williams scored the victory in the Crate Late Model feature. Riley Hickman finished in second, with Ronnie Johnson in third, Jimmy Elliott in fourth and Jeff Helms in fifth.
Rueben Mayfield topped the Limited Late Model field to score the victory, with Tod Hernandez in second, Johnny Ridings in third, Adam Cummings in fourth and Jason Lively in fifth.
Trevor Woodard took the win in the Street Stock feature, with Johnny Stokes in second, Wyatt Hill in third, Hunter Runions in fourth and Kyle Livingood in fifth.
Booger Brooks took the win in the Thundercar/Bomber feature, witih Kenny Taylor in second, Eric Smith in third, Dalton Poston in fourth and Joe Hillman in fifth.
In the Hot Shots Hornets feature, Roger Wood beat out Jonathan Merritt, Sr. for the win, with Chris Frost in third, Josh Childers in fourth and James McAvoy, Jr. in fifth.
