Three people were injured, including two children, in a single vehicle accident in Union County on Saturday.
According to Trooper McSween of the Blue Ridge post of the Georgia State Patrol, the accident occurred when a 2008 GMC pickup driven by 23-year-old Tiffany Ann Motes Lance of Young Harris left the roadway on Highway 129, striking a pole and two trees before coming to rest off of the highway.
McSween said Lance suffered head and neck injuries, along with injuries to her left leg. She was transported to a Union County hospital before being transferred to Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Two female juvenile passengers in the truck, ages 2 and 3, were also injured and transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Their conditions were not immediately available.
McSween said no charges are pending in the accident at this time.
