GAINESVILLE — Drew Cottrell and Tre Gober combined for 45 points to lead Lakeview Academy to a 79-65 win over Towns County Saturday in Region 8-A action at the Lakeview gym.
Cottrell poured in 23 points and Gober added 22 points for the Lions (12-4, 7-0 Region 8-A) who kept pace with Tallulah Falls as the only beaten teams in the region.
It was the fifth straight win for the Lions.
The Lions will be back in action on Monday against McEachern in the BCB Showcase at Peachtree Ridge High School.
