The top seedings for upcoming region tournaments are beginning to take shape around the area in both girls and boys.
Several key games are on tap both Tuesday and Friday night, highlighted perhaps by Dacula travling to Gainesville on Friday in a battle of unbeaten teams that sit atop Region 8-AAAAAA. The winner will take over first place all alone in the region standings.
Tuesday's action is highlighted by Flowery Branch traveling to Cedar Shoals. The Lady Falcons, ranked No. 2 in Class AAAAA, are trying to keep pace with No. 1 Buford in the region while the boys will try to take down the No. 3 Jaguars.
