RABBITTOWN — The North Hall volleyball team swept East Hall and Lumpkin County, while the Lady Vikings also defeated Lumpkin on Tuesday in a tri-match in Rabbittown.
The Lady Trojans swept past the Lady Indians 25-5, 25-8 and then out-fought East Hall 25-19, 25-13.
Melissa DeVerter helped lead North Hall with 13 kills, 5 aces, 6 blocks and 9 digs, while Lily Paschall had 26 assists, 12 aces, 5 kills and 7 digs. Autumn Tucker also had 11 kills, 11 digs and 2 aces, and Savannah Miller provided 3 kills. Caroline Brady had 4 kills, 3 aces and 7 digs; Lena Strickland had 17 digs and 1 ace; and Grace Hollifield had 3 kills.
The Lady Vikings (32-10), meanwhile, swept Lumpkin County 25-20, 25-13.
Savannah Thellman had 9 points scored on serve with 5 aces, 5 kills, 4 digs and 20 assists to help lead East Hall, while Summer Lindsey had 4 points scored on serve with 1 assist and 11 digs. Tessa Rider added 12 points on serve with 4 aces, 14 digs and 5 kills, and Minette Maldonado scored 9 points on serve with 6 aces, 13 kills, 1 assist and 17 digs. Niyah Rucker had 9 kills, 2 assists, 2 digs and 4 blocks, and Holly Poole scored 10 points on serve with 4 aces, 2 kills and 3 digs.
The Lady Vikings will hold senior night beginning at 6 p.m. Thursday
North Hall, meanwhile, plays at home on Thursday, taking on Lakeview Academy and Flowery Branch.
