JBS Carriers announces terminal purchase, October cookout

JBS Carriers announces the purchase of the company’s terminal in Oakwood. 

Acording to a company press release, JBS Carriers leased the building and land, located at 4547 Railroad St., for about three and a half years before purchasing it in August 2016.

To celebrate the acquisition of their permanent Hall County home, JBS Carriers will host a cookout at noon on October 28 at the terminal in conjunction with the annual Driver Appreciation Day. Local drivers, planners and customers will be included in the event, which will be sponsored by the MHC/Kenworth Dealer from Gainesville. 

The JBS Carriers home office is located in Greeley, CO, with terminals located in Utah, Texas, Wisconsin, Colorado and Georgia.

Company officials attending the Oakwood celebration will include: Rodrigo Horvath – President JBS Carriers Jose Tranjan – VP Dedicated Operations Mike McQuade – Director of HR Darrin Taylor – Operations Manager of Transportation Mark Respass – Director of Safety Jonathan Cribbs – Director of Fleet Maintenance / Transportation Michael Job – Facilities Manager, HR Jimmy Kiser – Southeast Dedicated Terminal Manager Mark Dale – Service Manager - Oakwood.
