Route 50 of the Gainesville Connection, which serves areas in downtown Gainesville and the University of North Georgia and Lanier Technical College campuses, was back up and running Tuesday.
Officials Monday said it was expected to be down for two to three days for fleet maintenance.
"Mechanics were able to expedite the repair on one of the buses late yesterday (Monday)," Gainesville Communications and Tourism Director Catiel Felts wrote in a Tuesday morning email.
Route 50 is the Ga. 13/Atlanta Highway route.
