A house fire on East Hall Road late Monday morning was accidental, the likely cause being a gas grill, officials said.

First responders found heavy smoke coming from the attic of the house when they arrived, according to Hall County Fire Services Captain Zachary Brackett.
"Approximately $185,000 value, $75,000 damage," Brackett wrote in an afternoon update.
The house is between Joe Chandler and Broome roads.
