The Georgia State Patrol has identified the man killed in a motorcycle wreck in Banks County Tuesday night.
Matthew Ryan Stockton, 29, of Maysville was killed in the bike crash on North Mangum Bridge Road, said Cpl. J.S. Munger of GSP Post 6 in Gainesville.
As Stockton was negotiating a curve to the left, the motorcycle failed to maintain its proper lane, traveled off the road to the right and overturned numerous times, striking a fence post, Munger said.
Stockton was ejected off the motorcycle and struck a tree and was pronounced dead at the scene, Munger said.
