SWAINSBORO, Ga. - Dennis Franklin became the fourth different Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals Series winner in four events Friday night at Georgia’s Swainsboro Raceway.
The Gaffney, South Carolina speedster pocketed a $5,300 payday with his 10th career Southern Nationals victory, moving him to third on the series all-time win list.
Franklin earned the win by holding off Dillon Wood to the checkered flag. Elberton, Georgia’s Brent Dixon finished in third, with Ricky Weiss in fourth and Craig Vosbergen in fifth.
Jordy Nipper, Scott Shirey, Donald McIntosh, Ivedent Lloyd, Jr. and Chris Ferguson rounded out the top ten.
