By Ken Stanford Contributing Editor

Nearly 3,000 ballots were cast in early voting in Hall County for next Tuesday's general election primaries.   Early voting ended Friday.

County Elections Director Charlotte Sosebee said 2,878 people voted, with 2,552 choosing the Republican ballot, 313 a Democratic ballot, and 13 only a non-partisan ballot.

Sosebee is predicting a 35 percent voter turnout for the primaries.  Two years ago, the turnout was 19.28 percent.
