Lanier Technical College will celebrate its 50th anniversary June 9.
The school plans a "black-tie optional" gala on its Cumming campus at 7:00, according to a posting on its Website.
The theme of the celebration is "Honoring the Past, Building for the Future."
The school, whose main campus has been in Oakwood since its inception, is planning to relocate to a site north of Gainesville along Georgia 365.
