Wilson Orthodontics will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for its new, state-of-the-art Gainesville location at 12:30 Tuesday, April 19. The new facility will be located near the intersection of Jesse Jewell and Limestone parkways, across from the Kroger-anchored New Holland Market.
According to architects at Atlanta Design Associates, the project includes the primary location for Wilson Orthodontics and will feature amenities similar to its Flowery Branch facility, such as a children’s theater, game room, computer stations, free Wi-Fi and other patient activities associated with the area’s premier orthodontic treatment facility.
“We have been researching and planning this new facility for some time, so it’s exciting to finally break ground and get started on what we believe will be the area’s premier orthodontic treatment facility,” said Ron Wilson, DMD, owner and partner of Wilson Orthodontics.
The primary building also will incorporate a continuing education space on the second floor and contain lease spaces for up to two tenants. In addition, the site will include a second 11,000-square-foot building in a prime location and can accommodate up to three additional tenants. Buford-based Hobgood Construction Group will manage build-out for the project.
“We selected the new site for its proximity to both the growing Georgia 365 corridor and Gainesville’s thriving medical community,” Wilson said.
Wilson Orthodontics is currently located off Sherwood Park Drive in Gainesville. Additional offices are located in Cleveland, Hoschton, Oakwood, Flowery Branch, Dahlonega and Dawsonville.
Construction is expected to be completed this winter.
