The North Hall boys tennis team opened its 2016 season on Thursday with a 5-0 win over Franklin County. The Trojans did not drop a set.
Jackson Davis won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, while Dalton Patterson won 6-0, 6-2 at No. 2 singles. Reid Lattanzi also won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3 singles.
In doubles play, the No. 1 team of Paxton Gillespie/Matthew Chewning won 6-0, 6-1. And the No. 2 team of Dawson Smith/Daniel Martin won 6-0, 6-2.
The Trojans (1-0) next play again on Feb. 23 at Lumpkin County.
