COVINGTON — The North Georgia Christian varsity boys basketball team won the GICAA I-AA East region championship with a 45-39 victory over Westminster Christian Academy on Saturday night in Covington.
Norris Rettiger led the Chargers with 16 points and Lex Parker added 10.
With the win the Chargers will begin play next week in the GICAA state tournament.
