CARNESVILLE — The East Hall boys basketball team closed out its regular season with a convincing, 88-55 defeat of Franklin County in Carnesville.
Tylor Brown led the Vikings (17-7, 10-2 Region 7-AAA) with 19 points, while freshman Luke Holtzclaw added 15 points. Markese Jackson also scored 14 points in the win, as East Hall sank 15 3-pointers in the win.
The Vikings out-scored the Lions 25-6 in second quarter to take control and led 41-22 at the half.
East Hall next plays in the Region 7-AAA tournament next week. The Vikings will enter the tournament as the No. 2 seed.
