COMMERCE — The Dawson County girls basketball team notched a 56-49 win over Madison County on Wednesday in the second round of the Commerce Christmas Classic in Commerce.
Calli Watson knocked down seven 3-pointers and finished with 23 points to help the Lady Tigers. Meanwhile, Kaylee Sticker scored 14 points.
Dawson jumped out to a 25-13 lead after the first quarter.
The Lady Tigers take on Johns Creek in the championship of the Christmas Classic at 7 p.m. Thursday in Commerce.
