ATHENS — Tory Ozment and Audrey Weiner each scored 17 points to lead Class AAAAA No. 1 Buford to 78-41 win over Cedar Shoals Tuesday night in both teams' Region 8-AAAAA opener.
The Lady Wolves (3-0, 1-0 Region 8-AAAAA) opened strong and never looked back.
Rachel Dobbs added 11 points for Buford, which will play host to Loganville on Saturday. The game was originally scheduled for Friday but was moved due the football team playing in the Class AAAAA state title game on Friday.
