'As many as 12 to 15' guns stolen from Forsyth County business

The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are investigating the recent theft of several firearms from a local business.

Authorities said the early morning crime victimized the Bulls Eye Marksman Gun Club, at 6190 Parkway North Drive between Cumming and Alpharetta.

"When deputies arrived they observed a blue Dodge Durango in front of the store and a large hole in the wall of the building directly behind it," sheriff's Corporal Peter Sabella wrote in a news release.  "After investigating the incident and talking with the business owner it was learned that multiple firearms had been taken from within the business, possibly as many as 12 to 15."

Authorities received the 5:26 a.m. alarm activation call to the business this past Thursday, December 1.

Anyone with information on the burglary is asked to contact Detective Ben Norton with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Section at (770) 781-2200.
