Hall authorities on the lookout for two missing people

By Caleb Hutchins Assistant News Director

The Hall County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help as they look for two people who went missing in the North Hall area earlier in the week.

In a release, the sheriff's office says 52-year-old John Harol Whitfield and 41-year-old Wanda Kay McDougald are both missing, with McDougald considered to be in danger.

Authorities say Whitfield was last seen driving a silver 2003 Ford F150 truck on Thursday, while McDougald hasn't been seen since Tuesday, when she was leaving her home driving a green Ford Winstar that was later found at a Murrayville Dollar General Thursday evening.

Whitfield's truck has a Georgia tag with the number PJE 5173. Anyone with information on Whitfield or McDougald's location is asked to call 911.
