MT. AIRY — The Chestatee girls basketball team ran its record to a perfect 5-0 after a 39-32 win over Habersham Central Friday night on the road.
It was the first home loss for the Lady Raiders (4-2) on the season.
It was a back-and-forth affair most of the game. Chestatee led 15-8 after the first quarter but Habersham used an 8-1 second quarter to pull into a tie at 16 by halftime.
The Lady War Eagles stormed out to start the third quarter with an 11-2 run and then held on down the stretch in the fourth quarter.
Lindsey Caudell paced Chestatee with 14 points. Peri Satterfield added 10 points for the Lady War Eagles.
Chestatee will travel to Lumpkin County and Habersham Central will travel to Stephens County on Saturday.
