The homeowners in a South Hall County neighborhood who had American flags stolen from their property now have those flags back, but authorities aren't saying yet who stole them
The thefts occurred on November 24 - Thanksgiving Day - in the Summer Creek Estates subdivision. An image of the suspect was captured on a home security system and turned over to the Hall County Sheriff's Office. When investigators released the image, the 18-year-old suspect contacted authorities.
An email statement from the Hall County Sheriff's Office said no charges have been filed at this point. Investigators said they expect to be able to update the case and release more information early next week.
