GMC (4-5) cut the lead to 7-6 after a second quarter touchdown but the extra point was missed.

Riverside extended the lead to 14-6 in the second quarter on a 1-yard run by Alvary Wilson.

GMC later missed a field goal with 2 seconds left in the first half and the Bulldogs next best drive ended with three consecutive sacks by the Eagles defense in the third quarter.
