Gainesville High School Musical Theatre won first place recently in the region 8-6A One Act Competition with a performance of "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying."
In addition to a first place overall win, an individual award went to Ramiro Salinas for Best Actor for his role of "Finch." GHS also had two students named to the All-Star Region Cast: Boone Alexander for his role of "J.B. Biggley" and Jazmine Ellison for her role as "Smitty."
GHS will compete in the State 6A One Act Competition in November in Perry.
